Sara Valverde Yoga - Central Square Yoga at The Breathing Room - Mindful Vinyasa Flow

Come join Sara Valverde for a New Year renewal, with both internal and external de-cluttering.

In the first hour of the workshop, Sara will guide you through a yoga practice focused on ¨de-cluttering¨ a few common posture habits, such as lordosis in the lumbar spine and chronic locking in the knees. As you practice becoming more aware of these habits through many asanas, you’ll be able to start un-learning those habits as you go forward in your yoga practice.

In the second hour of the workshop, Sara will focus on de-cluttering something in your off-the-mat life (like in your home, or your office/workspace). You’ll explore and discuss the connections between clutter and health – both mental, physical, and emotional health.

By the end of the workshop, you’ll have identified an area in that you want to de-clutter, and come up with an action plan that lets you leave empowered to reclaim your space!

To avoid any ironic clutter in today’s workshop, we’re limiting it to just seven students. So click here to reserve your spot!

Our Central Square studio is at 763 Massachusetts Avenue, just a couple blocks from the Central Square T stop as you walk toward City Hall, the Post Office, and Harvard. Our entrance is the big pair of double doors just to the right of the Life Alive restaurant. Buzz 7 on the intercom (to the left of the doors) to ring up for entry. We’re on the second floor.

We start opening our doors ten minutes before class so that you can get in a little early if you need to change, use the bathrooms, etc. before class. (But please don’t buzz more than 10 minutes early, or you might interrupt the last few minutes of someone else’s class.)

If it’s your first time at the studio, you should know that we already have mats for you (for free), so there’s no need to bring one of your own. Just show up in comfy clothes, and you’ll be good to go. (A water bottle is also a good idea.)
